Being the headliner of the Super Bowl is an immensely significant achievement, but this grand show hasn’t always been so monumental. In the past, halftime celebrations featured marching bands from high schools and colleges. However, starting in the 1970s, this began to change. Musical acts started to entertain the masses during the biggest game of the year, and their style garnered as much attention as their performances. Let’s take a retrospective look at Super Bowl style over the decades and how it has evolved.
